What should we wear to our photo session?

Being matchy-matchy is so 20 years ago. I'm a big fan of patterns, colours, accessories and layers. Feel free to bring an extra outfit change or two! Pinterest is full of great ideas for photo session outfits. Just search for 'photography outfit ideas' (or something along those lines). For group photos, I suggest choosing 2 or 3 main colours that look good together, and patterns! I do however suggest to stay away from big obvious logos. I want you to be the main focus, not the brand you're wearing!

What if there's bad weather on the day of our outdoor session?

If rescheduling isn’t an option, I would suggest thinking of a backup indoor location.

What if there's bad weather on the day of our wedding?

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2011, and so far I've been very lucky with this. The chances of there being horrible weather during your outdoor formal photos are pretty low. I always suggest planning ahead in case of rain, and thinking of a backup indoor location. Note that some venues may require a fee for wedding photos.

I'm so not photogenic! What should I do?

Everyone says this! However no matter what, everyone looks their best when they smile. I'll do whatever it takes to make you laugh! If it means I have to embarrass myself, then so be it! I might also assign someone from your group to be the comedian in the sideline to help me out.

Can my dog / cat / lizard / hamster be a part of our photo shoot?

Sure! I love animals! But there may be an additional charge for pets. To find out, just ask!

How do I book you for my wedding date?

Let’s meet in person and discuss details! To secure my services for your wedding date, I require a 50% deposit of the wedding package of your choice. As soon as I receive the deposit, your date is secured. The other 50% is due at least 2 weeks before your wedding date.

Will you have an assistant photographer at our wedding? If so, who?

Yes! Photographing weddings is a big job, and in order to capture every moment, I have an assistant photographer with me for the day. I bring along only those that I trust!

I found some awesome photo ideas on Pinterest! Can I show you some?

Of course! I'd love to see your ideas. I'm always up for trying new things. Feel free to send me links, or photos by email.

Do you need a shot list for my wedding?

For formal family photos I recommend it 110%. On the day of your wedding, the excitement might lead to certain combinations of people to be forgotten. We don't want that to happen! So please send me a shot list ahead of time, and be worry free! This also ensures that formal photos are done as efficiently as possible.
