Hey there, I’m Val!
And that little sausage I'm holding is named Eddie, he's our rescue pup! If you're a dog lover too, you can read about him below.
I’ve been a wedding and portrait photographer in Ottawa since 2011, and I can honestly say I have the best job in the world!!
If I’m not at home editing or forgetting where I left my coffee mug, I might be making dad jokes to the unsuspecting cashier at the grocery store. I'm obsessed with houseplants, and I LOVE a good cheesy pizza, preferably with prosciutto and arugula.
I'm an ENFP-A personality type, my primary love language is 'acts of service' and I'm an enneagram 1, for my friends who love a good personality test!
I'm fluently bilingual in both English and French. Oui oui! :)
I'm an Algonquin College Photography program alumni and I’ve photographed 100+ weddings. I’m all about capturing genuine and candid moments. My photos are a reflection of how people felt in the moment.
My goal is to make the entire photography process as fun as possible because I sincerely believe that in making the experience amazing, the photos will be too!
What i'm probably sipping

How many dogs out there can say they have their own dedicated page on a website?! Probably not many!
I'm about 12 years old (I think) and my official name is Sir Edward Reginald Longbottom the Third, but my humans call me Eddie for short. They sometimes call me Benny, or Baby Hippo! I guess it depends on the day and whether or not I'm behaving. I may be small, but I'm mighty and I have quite the appetite!
Before I found Val and Stefan, I was living at a rescue, so I have become very protective of my new family. I am always up for a cuddle, a game of fetch or snacks!
I love hanging out on my favourite rug or in the sun. My favourite treat is whatever you're eating, and I look ridiculously handsome in my favourite sweater or hotdog costume!
