Manon and Phil are expecting their first, very own tiny human in April. I was SO excited when Manon contacted me early on in her pregnancy to share her excitement and to ask if I would be available to take maternity photos. The answer to that was: HECK YES, GIRLFRIEND! So we set a date to do maternity photos at the Experimental Farm in Ottawa, one of my all-time favourite locations for photos because there are literally endless options for photos on the property.

You may recognize the pair of soon to be parents from my first ever wedding blog post that I recently published. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they got married at the beautiful Chateau Montebello in January of last year. It was chilly, but it was seriously so beautiful and I hope to return again and again to this amazing wedding venue! Even if it's in -20 weather, sign me up!!

So before we continue, I have a confession: After running my photography business for 8 years, I am only now starting to blog... It's an adjustment to my workflow, and it definitely feels a little out of my comfort zone if I'm being completely honest. I am a visual (as you can probably guess) so writing doesn't exactly come naturally to me. But sometimes you've gotta step out of that cozy comfort zone to grow! I thought what better way to do that than to continue Manon and Phil's story! I can't wait to meet the little guy when we meet up again for newborn photos.

Manon and Phil, once again congratulations and I can't wait to meet the little guy! I just know that you both will be amazing parents. :)
