FAQ
Will props be provided?
Yes! Some props will be available, though you are welcome (and encouraged!) to bring your own.
Can I book a session with my team/colleague?
Yes, group sessions are available. If you'd like individual sessions, plus some photos together, you're welcome to book back to back sessions.
What do I wear?!
For brand sessions, I recommend your brand colours and/or timeless muted neutrals. This is of course individual and will be different for each person/brand! Pinterest is a great place to look for inspiration that is specific to your field.
Where will the photos be taken?
Pop-up studio style and set up in the education room of the Ottawa Birth and Wellness Centre.
What's your editing style/philosophy?
I describe my editing style as simple, natural, bright and true-to-life colours. Basic editing includes colour correction, cropping, exposure, contrast, etc. If you'd like additional retouching for more specific areas of the photo, contact me for details. Additional editing may be subject to retouching fees.
Payment & refund / cancellation policy
Full payment is required at the time of booking in order to secure your portrait session.
Sessions are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. A spot cannot be held without payment.
Cancellations & Refunds
Fees are non-refundable. Due to the limited number of spots available, once a session is booked, it cannot be refunded if you cancel.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, due to illness or attending a birth, you may:
Transfer your spot to a friend or family member (please notify me of the change).
Reschedule only if an alternate date is provided (e.g. a designated backup date for birth attendance or weather-related postponements).
Weather & Photographer Cancellations
In the event of inclement weather that makes it unsafe to travel, the session will be rescheduled to the listed backup date.
If I am unable to photograph your session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your payment to a future session.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time. Portrait sessions are scheduled back-to-back and unfortunately, late arrivals cannot be extended past your booked time.
